Johannes, who is the Head of Academics at SATS, did his formal theological training at the University of Stellenbosch. He specialised in Old Testament Studies and evaluated medieval Jewish Bible commentaries for his doctorate which was partially done at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Willem, who has a D.Th.in Practical Theology, heads up the Programme Delivery Team. He has lectured at various universities and colleges. Willem has written a number of academic articles and presented papers at various conferences.

Mervin obtained his doctorate at UNISA and served as the Head of the Association of Christian Counsellors of South Africa, before being appointed as Professor of Counselling Psychology at Providence Seminary in Canada. He has served as Vice-Chair of the International Network of Christian Counsellors.

Jesse obtained his D.Th. from the UNISA. He is currently heading and lecturing at Central African School of Missiology in Lubumbashi, DRC and is the dean in charge of academic affairs at Exousia School of Theology and Ministry in Zambia. Jesse has published three books.

Robert, holds a PhD in Systematic Theology from SATS and also studied Architecture at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU). He is the author of ‘Spectacular Atonement: Envisioning the Cross of Christ in an African Perspective’. Currently he is involved in research development at SATS.

Brigitte Seyram Amenyedzi (Rev) has a strong passion to help marginalized people in society especially persons with disability, women and children. She obtained her PhD from Stellenbosch University.

Robert Brodie

Robert completed his doctoral Studies at St. Augustine. He has many years of experience in education at various levels, particularly distance education. He served as a teacher trainer and senior administrator at a College of Education that provided further education for serving teachers by means of distance education.

Zoltan is the Head of Academic Quality Assurance at SATS. He holds a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies (SATS). His academic interests also include, inter alia, parable interpretation and apologetics.

Pieter completed his doctorate at the University of Pretoria and is Managing Director of Service D’Instruction et Mobilisation. He has served as a pastor in Mauritius, and as Chancellor of the MBTI.

Dan completed his doctoral studies at North-West University. He is widely published and has a particular interest in intertextuality between the testaments, Biblical ethics and spiritual care in professional settings. Dan has extensive experience in tertiary education and a passion for scholarly excellence.

Modisa Mzondi

Modisa earned two doctoral degrees in theology from the University of Johannesburg. He is a founder and director of Back to Basics- Kago Leswa, and is also a pastor of Let My People Go Ministries. In addition, Modisa has taught theology at a licentiate level in partnership with several Bible Colleges and written several books.

He has a passion for children, youth, families and leadership training. His interests are in anything to do with Ubuntu, African Indigenous Knowledge Systems, African theology, African womanism and Pentecostalism.

Mark, who began his academic journey at SATS, obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Pretoria, where he focused on the interaction between science and theology, including integrating evolution and the creative acts of God found in Genesis 1-2. He has published many journal articles.

Byeong obtained his doctorate in Islamic Studies from the University of the Western Cape, Cape Town (2008). He serves as a missionary in Serving in Mission International and his areas of speciality are practical theology, Christian doctrine, missions, comparative religion & theology.

Bert Watson holds an MAGL from Fuller Seminary and a PhD from SATS. In addition to serving as an executive pastor in the USA, Bert Watson is the founder of Leading Edge Christian Ministries, an organisation devoted to the development of biblical leaders in the Majority World.  Bert lived and ministered in Africa for 35 years.

Jose was General Manager of Sulzer SA 1989–2007 and Chairman of the board of Sulzer Zambia 2006–2007. He is an external marker for Lewende Woord Bible College and is part of the academic staff of SATS.

Felix Kantondo

Originally from the Congo, Félix has served since 2006 as the Associate Pastor and Sunday School Director of Bellevue Baptist Church. As well as being a course supervisor for SATS, he is responsible for translation of courses into the French language.

Bev has taught in secular education for about twenty five years (mainly Biology) and has worked for both Trans World Radio and Radio Pulpit. She has an M.Th. in Practical Theology, and has published a number of family oriented books. Bev’s Special joy is in training women and youth (especially where marginalised) and their carers/mentors – both males and females.

Mzayifani holds a Bachelor of Technology Degree (Electrical Engineering Heavy Current), Durban Institute of Technology, 2004. He has worked for Eskom since 2003 and is presently employed in Middle Manager Project Engineering in Eskom Group Technology, Engineering. Mzayifani has been working as a tutor for SATS since 2012.

Bert is a successful pharmacist, having bought or started a chain of 12 retail pharmacies in the course of his career. In 2006 he sold the last of his pharmacies and retired. Bert is known to have salvaged the Middelburg branch of child welfare from being disbanded, to be a viable organisation again. He has widely divergent interests; from playing the piano to wildlife to flying his own plane.

Veroni obtained his doctorate at the University of Pretoria, and a B.Th. Honours in Missiology from UNISA. He was a pastor for nineteen years, and is the founder of The Word for the World Bible Translators. He has been involved in training Bible translators and working as a consultant in Bible translation projects since 1988.

Victor obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Stellenbosch. He is Senior Vice President of Spiritual Ministry of CURE International and sits on the board of a number of Christian institutions. Victor has published a large number of papers in various journals worldwide.

D.Th. Peter obtained his Ph.D. from UNISA, and a Dr.Habil. from Karoli Gaspar University. He has served on the Euro-Asian Accrediting Association, the European Evangelical Accrediting Association and plays a key role in training scholars in the former Soviet Union countries.

Antonio earned his Ph.D, in Intercultural Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary. He serves as the Chancellor of the South American Theological Seminary in Brazil.

Norberto Saracca

Norberto, who recently headed the Latin American delegation to the Lausanne Congress in Cape Town, obtained his Ph.D. from Birmingham University. He has been the Director of FIET (Facultad Internacional de Educacion Teologica) since 1977 and has served as a visiting professor at a number of seminaries.
