MBS 5244 Biblical Hermeneutics

MBS 5244 Biblical Hermeneutics

Course Description

The purpose of this course is to help you utilise the linguistic tools, exegetical methods, and interpretive approaches obtained elsewhere and apply them to the theological analysis of a biblical book, whether from the Old or New Testaments. Students with sufficient facility in the original languages will leverage suitable hermeneutical tools and techniques to understand Hebrew, Aramaic, and/or Greek texts within the Judeo-Christian canon. This course may be taken more than once, as long as the study of a biblical book is not repeated.
