Biblical theology is a discipline which gives primacy to the unfolding drama of Scripture. In this approach, the Old and New Testaments are interpreted within the context of the various narrative prisms of God’s Word and with the intent of elucidating the entire narrative of the Judeo-Christian canon. There is a fundamental commitment to engage the Bible on the basis of its grand, literary framework. The purpose of this course is to explore the challenges and benefits of understanding the Bible through its various narrative prisms. It enables you to gain greater skill in advanced methods of biblical study. It also helps you relate the theology of the Bible to contemporary issues.
