SATS General Newsletter 21 February 2015

Taking the distance out of distance learning by carefully nurturing our new students through the transition to tertiary education.

A New Home for SATS

The relocation of the SATS offices to the new premises in Bryanston marks an historic moment for the Seminary. For more on this and other exciting developments, announcements and events, keep on reading.

On 15 January 2015, SATS relocated to its new campus and we are thrilled with the beautiful premises God has given us. For 12 years we had leased office space from Ridgeway Ministry and we are extremely grateful for their generosity over many years. However, God has NOW enabled us to purchase our own property and we believe that this facility will take us far into the future! The new campus is strategically located in Bryanston, affords us more space to conduct our ministry (as we have needed for some years already) and has stunning gardens. The move itself went well, without any significant damage to property or serious injury, for which we are also extremely grateful. What remains is to finish unpacking about 700 boxes, most of which constitute our library. This brings us to our next item…

We are dedicating our new SATS building on the 18th April at 10am.  Please join us as we celebrate this wonderful event.

Guided tours of the campus will take place every 10 minutes between 9 and 10 am, followed by the unveiling of a plaque and a short dedication of the building led by Dr Chris Peppler.

37 Grosvenor Road, (Cnr Cumberland Road), Bryanston, Sandton

Light refreshments will be served after the dedication. R.S.V.P. by 2 April to Sharon Eagle at or 011-234 4440. Please note that the dedication will start at 10am sharp and will last around 20-30 minutes.

We have chosen to have the dedication ceremony for our new building on the same day as the graduation so that more people have the opportunity to see the building and meet the staff.

The graduation ceremony will take place at Rosebank Union Church at 2pm on 18th April where once again we will pay tribute to our students. This is the high point of the SATS calendar and always a highly anticipated occasion. This year Dr Bill Domeris will be addressing our students. More details to follow.
